Summary
Ciel Phantomhive, age 23, and his wife Elizabeth are going through a rough patch. The Midfords are pressuring them to have a baby, but the marriage is falling apart at the seams.
Lizzie asks her husband if they can see other people. He says no. On further insistence, she explains that she cannot in good conscience be a good wife to him when her mind is full of homosexual thoughts.
With the help of someone in the know, they take a trip to a queer-focused street in a red-light district. What Ciel is not expecting to find there is Alois Trancy, whom he presumed to be dead over a decade ago.

At 18 years old, Cain Dougherty finds himself becoming fixated on one of his classmates-- Seraphina Andretti. As a closeted homosexual, devout Irish-Catholic, and a guilty sadist, she's the only girl who's caught his eye. She's attractive (unconventionally), but probably still attractive enough to get his friends and family off of his back about “getting a girlfriend”, or whatever.
Though, there were reasons he wanted her instead of any other girl in school. It'd be easy enough to pretend to date one of the girls in the hallways. But Seraphina was hard to get; she was completely uninterested in him. Cain's favourite thing about her was how she acted on the Internet. In person, she was completely unremarkable. He'd never even noticed her until he was sent her profiles by a friend. But online, she was a different person. A temptress, a Jezebel, who published images mutilating her God-given body. It appealed to the seeds of desire that the Devil had thrust into him. He liked it.
He wanted to get to know her. To get close to her. And, like a miracle, he was given the opportunity to do so– through a class project.

☆ My relationship headcanons for Floyd Leech. Reader is the prefect/Yuu because that was easier to write, but these headcanons apply for any insert. Gender-neutral, romance isn't stressed so it could be read as queer-platonic (in the sense that Floyd is clingy either way).
☆ Content warnings for brief mentions of kidnapping, stalking, manipulation(?), canon-typical Floyd attacking other students... I intentionally tried to keep it mellow(!) but come on, it's one of the tweels... I didn't think it was enough in my writing to warrant tagging, but let me know if otherwise.

Ciel turns just far enough to see the blond man running over to him, abandoning his compatriot. He catches up to Ciel, before skidding to a stop. He exhales, hard, and says, “Well, fuck me, it is you. I thought there was some other eye-patched prick in the most dandy-ass clothes you can get wandering my streets.” He laughs again. Ciel doesn’t say anything. “Oh, don’t do that. You remember me.”
Ciel swallows, testing the feel of the words in his mouth, making sure they make sense, before trying out, “Alois Trancy?”
On a purely utilitarian visit to the red light district, Ciel runs into a six-year-gone memory.

Ciel Phantomhive looks up at Tanaka, his guardian, with disgust. "There's no way I'm going there."
The older man sighs a with a small nod, “As much as I wish to agree with you, Ciel, I cannot. Your therapist recommended it and I believe that it is a good idea. Your panic attacks have been worsening and I'm starting to worry."
Ciel grumbles to himself, looking down at the floor of the car. "I don't need to go to some mental hospital. I’m not crazy!”
"It's not a mental hospital, it is a psychiatric ward. It can help you.”
"Whatever," The teen sighs and picks at his nails subconsciously, “is this really necessary?"
Tanaka nods, "I would say so."
He goes quiet, deep in thought. A few minutes go by and eventually Ciel caves - not that he had much choice in the matter to begin with. "Alright then. I will go."
