Summary

Lance has been in a rut, unable to find the happiness that once filled his life. Everything looks gray, and he feels suffocated. And that's how he finds himself halfway across the world, backpacking across a foreign country with his best friend, Hunk, and their new friend, Pidge. That is, until they run out of money and decide to get a job. He's having fun, and colors are leaking past the dam and back into his life. This entire series is perfect. Wonderful porn with plot, and the characterization is great. This one checked off SO many things for me:
- Great pacing
- Great dialogue
- Decent interactions outside of the core ship
- Actual buildup in their relationship as well as relationship struggles
- You could really /see/ the story in your head, the descriptions were just perfect
- Transitions into and out of the porn parts were great and never felt contrived or cut short, respectively
- I love that Keith and Lance both top and bottom???? I can't really describe how happy that makes me????
- God damn, the porn in this is phenomenal. Just. So. Good
- And honestly, what truly got me in the end was how completely, fully and thoroughly in love they fall. I came for the smut (heh, giggity) and was flat out /enthralled/ by their budding and enduring love
- It solidified many of my kinks, omg. Lance validated the freak in me, lol -

There are certain rules of relationships, Oikawa insists: you have to at least pretend to study before making out; the taller one is the big spoon; and a disastrous but adorable first date is a must.
But Iwaizumi maintains that all he can do is (a) pretend like his heart isn’t beating so hard it hurts, and (b) find as many opportune moments to kiss his boyfriend as possible.
There are, after all, no guides for how the hell you’re supposed to handle being in love with your best friend.
