It’s easy to believe that cats and dogs don’t get along.
They’re too different, they’re complete opposites, there’s a million things about them that just don’t fit, and after years of being told the same thing over and over again, Ricky is almost convinced of it too.
In reality, it’s just a simple case of two people who grew up side by side and choose to stay by each other’s side, despite the entire world telling them that they’re bound to grow sick of it someday.
The entire world has been telling him—Gyuvin is bound to hate Ricky someday.

“Break up vacation. C’mon, baby,” Ricky had simpered in that horribly annoying tone of his. “You deserve to let off some steam after losing the dead weight, and I need a tan and someone to keep me company.”
“You’re paying,” Gyuvin said, giving into the firm press of Ricky’s thumbs working against his traps.
“Of course. Daddy always takes care of you.”
Ricky got hit after that, but they also booked their vacation. A full week, right after Christmas. New Years on a beach instead of knee deep in snow, Gyuvin could never say no to that. He can never say no to Ricky, period.
(OR: Gyuvin goes on vacation and all he gets is gayer (and heatstroke!))

Ricky’s hand clasps his jaw. His fingertips are cold, sharp in contrast to the warmth flooding Gyuvin’s face. “Open your mouth.”
Sticky sweet nicotine curls and tumbles in and out, the fog spilling from Ricky’s lips to his own steadily. It feels like summertime ice cream trucks, smells like Strawberry Shortcake DVDS and flavored lip balm.
Ricky’s head inclines, lips dangerously close as he breathes the rest of the smoke onto Gyuvin’s tongue.
Gyuvin sees God.
