Summary
They say that the strongest stars have hearts of kyber, but to get to those crystals you would need to mine and refine them. For Jyn Erso, every trial was like the laser cutting into the earth to mine the crystal, every abandonment and loss she'd suffered was her heart being refined and hardening until she was closed off from everything and everyone save for a few that she'd explicitly trusted and even those that she'd trusted were far and few in between.
The first to abandon her had been her childhood best friend Mara Jade, the next were her parents, the third had been Saw and the Partisans, and the last and most disappointing of all was the man she'd loved at sixteen. Forever straddling the line between the light and dark, her desire to become nothing like the Sith had saved her from that fate but her continuing love for those that had abandoned her may be what saves the lives of millions as she takes her place as the Last Star Knight, the girl with the heart of kyber who shines brighter and hotter than any star.

Baze lives for Sunday night dinners, watching the kids help around the kitchen like they always used to do. Bodhi’s chopping up bell peppers with the brightest smile on his face, listening to the bickering between Jyn and Cassian who are both shredding cheese. Kay remains focused on kneading the pizza base, occasionally throwing in his sarcastic two cents, and Chirrut—
“You guys wanna hear a joke?” His husband chirps from his spot on top of the island counter top. The kids simultaneously groan, and Baze has to fight the grin itching to grow on his lips. “What cheese always feels alone?”
“Gee, I don’t know.” Jyn says dryly. “What?” She turns around, arms crossed, and even though her eyebrows are knitted and her lips are pressed tightly together, it’s ridiculously obvious that she’s also fighting a smile, and Chirrut… Chirrut laughs.
“Provalone.”
OR… the Modern AU where Baze and Chirrut are happily married and adopt four kids over the course of their adulthood and everyone is happy in a family that’s not exactly built on the conventional, but hey man, it works.

To the rest of Hogwarts, Erso and Andor had the fiercest Quidditch rivalry Hogwarts had ever seen, hell, maybe the fiercest rivalry Hogwarts had ever seen. Staring each other down in hallways, trading insults in the Great Hall. But this...this was new-ish. The rivalry was real, for a while.
But then it wasn’t. Something changed, inexplicably. She was knocked off her broom during a match and sent spiraling toward the ground. The last thing she saw was Cassian diving for her, throwing the match in the process. When she woke up in the hospital wing, Cassian was by her side, asleep in the chair next to her bed, his head resting on the mattress beside her.

Rebelcaptain WWII AU.
The year is 1940, and Europe is at war. Jyn Erso keeps her head down, apart from the occasional brushes with the law. She doesn’t care about flags or countries or sides or allegiances. She’s been on her own for a good, long time, and she won’t fight for anyone except herself.
So when she gets into trouble in German-occupied France, she doesn’t expect anyone’s help – least of all a so-called rescue party spearheaded by the Resistance, who break her out in order to make an offer that promises to change her life forever.
Her father is a scientist working for Germany, and with his help, they have the potential and capacity to inflict untold damage using a new weapon. He needs to be found, and Captain Cassian Andor thinks she’s the one to do it.
A story of Rogue One characters coming together during a world war, under different (but hopefully interesting) circumstances. Because Rebelcaptain is beautiful and that beach scene was uncalled for and I need to fix some things.- Language:

There is no part in him that doubts this vision. Chirrut has felt the Force for years, and he has no reason to stop believing it now. Yet, the vision is concerning, very much so. His heart breaks at all the death, all destruction, all the suffering — is it really what's to come? Did the Force show him this to warn him, or because somehow, it can be stopped? That, he does not know.

Jyn looks at the monk. She knows him, and she knows his name.
"Chirrut?" She whispers, and when Chirrut smiles his wide, beaming grin, she finds herself returning the gesture, even as she can feel tears welling up in her eyes.
"Yes, girl," he replies, with fondness in his voice and she realizes that she wants to laugh, throw herself at him and Baze — who's now looking at her suspiciously, seemingly ready to strike and Force, he must not know — and hug them tightly, until they all can't breath.

Or, how Chirrut and Jyn are warned by the Force about what's to come, and do everything in their will to change the fate of Rogue One.
