Summary
Can greed be used to impel lust?
Submitting to debauchery, Ethan Witheridge's motivation. Sexual escapades brought on by involving himself in situations sane people would avoid; stalking gangs just to get beaten, getting drunk to intentionally provoke fights with those stronger and tougher than him, and most commonly---fuelling the rage of his patients through greed alone, extorting money in exchange for their hatred.
There's a difference in the wounds inflicted on the foundation of annoyance and wrath.

Summary
The life of a putrid sinner wouldn't be left unpunished, a life of sin which Josiah lived under would be thrown and cast into the fire as well as Josiah's mortality. G-d would come upon him to deliver him the punishment of vampirism - constant suffering from the burning light, the weakness to garlic and the wooden stake, the constant thirst for the life essence of a human.
In the eyes of Josiah, this was hell on Earth but he could be saved, he would find grace and joy eventually, as G-d had commanded him, grace could only be found by perfect obedience to the will of G-d. He was commanded to join the priesthood, to repent his sins, to repent them all his life until G-d returns to him and grants him mortality.
But, his immortality comes at a cost. Vampires and vampire hunters do not go together like wine and bread, the vampiric community praise him and uplift him while Josiah is guilt ridden for his vampirism, on the other hand the hunters see him as nothing but another piece of dirt to be trampled on, would he make it to see G-d's salvation?
