It's been a year since the last akuma attack, and things have been quiet. Director Damocles has founded a new revolutionary lycée, Caline Bustier has gone on being a mayor. The heroes have gone on patrolling, but soon the wait for evil butterflies turned into helping out civilians.
How will things change once the akumas are back? And how will the new Hawkmoth be different from the old one?
This is a sequel to my passion project, called (quite lamely) If Only I Could Break Free. It started as an angsty two-shot and thanks to people's comments morphed into a fiction I just can't let go!
