Since Billy beat Harrington’s pretty face in and the kids had left him on the floor of some freaky house, dosed up to hell.
Billy sees him at school and watches the bruises fade from his pale skin, tries to ignore Steve the best he can. It's what he's supposed to do, what he told Max he'd do. So he watches the colors of Steve’s face come back to normal. Watches the light in his eyes sort of fade.
Billy ignores Steve Harrington until he can’t anymore.
Because Steve doesn’t look good, and Billy was never able to leave a scab alone.

Summary
Hawkins (Indiana) 1984
A quiet, small Indiana town lost in the woods is ravaged by a terrible spate of serial murders.
Seven victims are brutally murdered in a matter of a few days even under the noses of the police.
None of the victims survive and the police are unable to even discover what is causing this massacre. Revenge? Love? Fun?
Nothing.There is only one connection, Steve Harrington, always present at the scene of the crime but never during the attack, never sees the attacker and always comes out unscathed.
Could it be that the killer never detects his presence or is he torturing him?
Will Steve be able to see the killer and make it out alive?{Inspired by Scream}

Summary
barely visible in the alley between two abandoned shops, was a tall man dressed in dark denim and golden strands that fell over his shoulders in beautiful curls. He was pretty, despite, or maybe because of, the deep scowl etched into his features. The closer Steve looked, it seemed there was another person there, pushed up against the man and the dirty brick of the wall.
The curiosity got the better of him, and rather than sidle back into his car to drive 40 minutes to a dull house with boring people and boring television; he found his feet carrying him closer. Steve was friends with the shadows, staying well within them to edge closer to the struggle. It was when he had just made it to the opening of the alley that he heard the all-too-familiar crunch of bone and a strangled scream for help that sounded more gurgle than yell. The man was standing, staring down at the body and the bloodied mess he’d made of the wall and his hands. Shining, wet blood covered the front of him, splatters adorning the smooth skin of his face.

The kitchen lights flicker once, so quickly that he convinces himself that he imagined it, and then there’s a crackling, a kind of static-y hiss against his ear, and the rasp of a voice, “Hey, I need, uh, police?”
There’s something familiar about the voice, something twitching at the back of his mind, the tip of his tongue, but Steve can’t quite place it.
“Hello? Anyone there? Please?” it comes again, laced with so much desperation that it has the back of Steve’s neck prickling uncomfortably, “I need- shit, I need help.”

Usually, it's a wordless exchange of Steve’s usual order. However, one night, Billy gets this terrible idea and pulls over on the side of the road. From that night on, Hawkins' has one less terrible-tipper and Billy Hargrove says much more to Steve Harrington than nothing at all.
