Dean's three aisles over when he realizes what, precisely, he said. Thankfully, when he comes to this conclusion, he's holding a box of poptarts, so when he fumbles and drops them to the floor, it's not a huge mess. He stares down at the slightly dented box of Brown Sugar Poptarts, and he has a very swift and very unshakeable crisis right there and then.

No, no, no. Why would he say that? Why would he do that? In the middle of the goddamn grocery store while arguing about bread? That's not—that can't be how it happens. That can't be.

As much as Dean hates him for that, the longer he sticks around, the more he begins to threaten that first rule too. Dean’s been taught his whole life that those who play hockey should not be captivated by deep accented voices and the way a guy handles his stick, so how the hell is he supposed to justify what he’s starting to think about Cas? All Dean wanted at the beginning of the season was to win, and now all he wants to do is figure out how he feels about Cas and how to deal with it without ruining his career and tearing his family apart.

Professor Graham would normally at least glance up at the sound of students coming in, though he would never look any in the eye. Today, he didn’t so much as flinch. Students settled in their seats, laptops and notebooks in hand, getting themselves mentally prepared for whatever they were about to face.
The second the screen before them clicked on, they had a guess as to why Professor Graham was in such a sour mood. Technically, they were not wrong.
“Over the weekend,” he began, loud and just as tense as always, if not more, “the Chesapeake Ripper began another sounder. Or so investigators believe.”
--------When weekend plans get pushed aside in favor of an opportunity to kill an old target, Will decides that the only way Hannibal can learn a lesson is through indignity.

"I—I…" Dean takes in a deep breath, then blows it out heavily. "Cas, you're not fucking with me, are you?"
"I'm not," Cas tells him.
"Okay," he says, "fuck it, let's get hitched."
"Thank you," Cas murmurs sincerely, then picks his fork back up and goes right back to eating.
