Kiryu slid between them. A playful smile glimmered across his face. “A game indeed. The ‘I Love You’ game.”
“I l-lov—What!?” Sakura stepped back, looking at everyone like they were insane.
They were.
“The ‘I Love You’ game,” Kiryu explained, nodding his head. “Two people play against each other, and one person confesses their love to the other. If the other person reacts to the confession, they lose. The goal is to keep a straight face and make your opponent blush first.”
Summary: Sakura seemed to realise something after playing the game.

Summary
Suo… the one who seemed so untouchable and invincible… the one Sakura knew he could rely on to take on anything be it a fight or a strategy, was pinned down by two grown men while another raised a knife, seconds away from taking Suo away from them for good.
Suo was strong, but he’s still a teenager… still a kid struggling against the heavy weights of the two adults holding him down, uncaring if the movement caused his bones to snap.
And Sakura… he panicked.

Ngl, after writing the fic, I'd say this is more like Kaji interacting with other characters (in flashbacks) and talking about Suo — which creates an impression of Suo in Kaji's mind, not necessarily a good one, and Kaji interacting with Suo a bit as well during the patrol.

Several weeks after leaving Bofurin, Suo Hayato is still thinking about the friends he left behind in Makochi. He's especially worried about the state that Nirei is in, considering what he did to him. He believes that everyone in Bofurin is better of without him and that his hometown comes first.
It's a shock to him when he finds Sakura and his friends in Bankoku-gai, searching for him.
Now he has to deal with them and the mess thats occurring in the Red Chanpuru. He doesn't know whether he can keep the emotional turmoil to a minimum. Sakura is in a mess and Nirei is fuming. As trouble in Kasai reaches it's peak, Suo is pressured to reveal more about himself while juggling the mess that he's in.

Suo’s instinct responds with sharp, longing want. As though his body thinks that Sakura’s hands in his hair and Togame’s arms around his waist are a cure for his symptoms as definitively as it would crave water during heat stroke. His face runs hot.
