Summary
Jeongin stood on the turf, the fake grass feeling more distant as he looked down at Seungmin’s unconscious body. His hair was matted with the thick, ruby red of his blood as it began to run down his neck and stain his white jersey, the rain was beginning to pour more harshly but it was doing nothing to wash away the stains. It hit the turf with a steady hiss, but Jeongin couldn’t quite hear it over the static in his own head.
Seungmin hates blood.
That’s what Jeongin wanted to say, that was the only goddamn thought running in his mind as he watched the paramedics roll him onto his back and begin to load him onto the stretcher.
He hates blood. Get it off of him before he freaks out. Wipe it clean, act like it wasn’t there before he begins to panic.
But it wouldn’t quite matter if Jeongin yelled this. If the EMTS took the time to clean the blood rather than making sure Seungmin was alive. It wouldn’t matter if Seungmin would freak out, because he wouldn’t be able to react if he wasn’t waking up anyway.

Or, Nam-gyu is being forced to join theater in an attempt to have at least one thing on his record.

Summary

The attack on the Northern Water Tribe goes differently, Aang and the ocean spirit don’t destroy the entire Fire Nation fleet, only most of them.
Zhao escapes, taking Sokka and a few other Water Tribe men as prisoners. Knowing Sokka is traveling with the Avatar he gets sent to Zhao’s “special prison camp” that is hidden near the Earth Kingdom colonies.
Sokka gets a taste of the real war, not the war that he thinks he knows from traveling with the Avatar. While Zhao’s prisoner, he struggles to survive the inhuman conditions. Alone and thought to be dead, he feels himself slowly losing hope.
Seeing a familiar face brings back his hope, even if that face is the scarred Prince of the Fire Nation.
Sokka and Zuko come together to survive and end up depending on each other for a lot more than they ever thought possible.
