After talking to Nezha, Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, decides that Red Son has such a naturally good soul it would be wrong not to take him as a disciple and help him reach enlightened.
At no point does she ask Red Son's opinion on this, or tell anyone of her decision.
On Earth the Demon Bull Family, Wukong, and the Monkie Kid's search desperately for the young demon, knowing he was kidnapped but not knowing by who or why.
In the Heaven's Red Son is barely keeping sane as everything is stripped away from him, and all his increasingly desperate attempts to escape fail time and time again.
Will Red Son get rescued and make it back home? Or by the time all his friends discover what happened will it be too late?

"On your knees, Golden Guard," Belos coldly commanded, the animalistic distortion of his voice disappearing as he reverted to his total-human form. He still held Flapjack tightly between his fingers. "Or have you forgotten how to address your Emperor?"
Hunter wordlessly sank to his knees.
"My liege," he said.
The title tasted like ash in Hunter's mouth.
"I… I'm…" Hunter heavily swallowed, hanging his head low in submissive shame. "I'm sorry for running and fighting. It was foolish— I was foolish to think I could escape you." Hunter's throat became so tight it felt like he was speaking through a pinhole. "I only delayed the inevitable. Please… please forgive me."
