Summary
Dante sat in his childhood bedroom seething, face burning with humiliation. He and Vergil had been home for the winter holidays for three days now, which meant it was only a week since Dante had gone to his brother’s office to talk about his failing grade. A week since Vergil had forced him on his knees under the guise of “extra credit.” A week since Vergil had pushed himself down Dante’s throat and used his younger brother as little more than a toy.
One week since the one person in Dante’s life he trusted above all else, had twisted that trust and shattered it.
Dante is going to make his brother take responsibility, he just wasn't sure how yet.

Summary
It is as hard to love as it is to be loved.
Nero wants to understand his father and to go back to when things were easy with Dante, but it's like the other two just don't feel the same. He's trying his best, honestly, but sometimes that just doesn't seem to count for much.
Dante wants everything to be normal. He wants his nephew to finally have the father figure he's always wanted, wants Vergil to just stay for once, and especially, for no one to find out that he's sleeping with his own twin. Is that really so much to ask?
And Vergil? Vergil finally has the only thing he's every truly wanted: Dante. Now he just has to find a way to finally achieve his life long goal—to protect that which he loves.

“Is there anything else I can help you with tonight?” Shane says with a grin. Something flashes in Ilya’s eyes.
“I would think so,” Ilya says contemplatively before yanking Shane forward by the collar of his shirt, his luggage rolling uselessly to the side as he pushes Shane further into the room. The door shuts with a tremendous slam.
Ilya’s mouth closes on Shane, hot and insistent as they stumble through the foyer to the beds, both of them laughing a little breathlessly while Ilya gets his hands on the ridiculous suit Shane has to wear for his job.
“Sir, I’m just a bellboy,” Shane protests, or pretends to protest, in between Ilya licking into his mouth.
Ilya is a regular at the hotel Shane works as a bellboy at. None but Shane can figure out why he keeps returning.

Ilya can’t even be bothered to snark back at either of them, because today is his big day.
Well, mostly. It’s sort of Amber’s day, too, he guesses, and kind of Shane’s as well if one were to look at it from a very specific angle, but mostly it’s Ilya’s.
And as Amber gives him a cheesy grin when she sees him (a new development as of the last couple of weeks), Ilya knows even his boring husband and his boring husband’s loser best friend can’t ruin this perfect day.

Ilya gets off his bike and wraps his sweaty arms around Shane’s sweaty shoulders, presses their sweaty heads together and holds him tight. “Nooo, Hollander, you cannot leave me. Who will put Barrett and Marly in time out when they fuck up too many shots in a row?”
“I’m sure Bood will do it. He loves bossing people around.”
Bood stands up straight and salutes his captains. “I take the title with great honor. Enjoy the Ravens, Hollander—your legacy of being a chaste Victorian debutante will be remembered fondly but not carried on.”
This snaps that last thread of Shane’s refined patience. “I can pick up girls! I have no problem getting numbers and calling them and talking!”
Hazy smirks. “Innocent until proven guilty.”
“I can pick people up,” Shane says again, moving off his bike and out of Ilya’s sweaty embrace. “And I don’t have to do it by concocting schemes or stripping on top of the LAX bros’ coffee table.”
