"Kaeya." He offers a hand, which she shakes gracefully.
"Just Kaeya?"
"I used to be part of the Ragnvindr family, but he disowned me."

Kaeya has been kicked out of the Ragnvindr household by Diluc. He thought he would be alone forever, but he meets the (in)famous Eula Lawrence, and they help pick each other back up.
Diluc returns to Mondstadt too late.

The inside of the Astral Express is warm, cozy, done in a style he's heard was touted for its modernity an Aeon's lifetime ago. The entire crew is present: Dan Heng all the way in the back, March 7th, springing up from her seat beside Stelle, Mr. Welt, serving as a barrier between him and the younger members, and Ms. Himeko, taking a step forward to capture his attention.
“Mr. Sunday,” she says, diplomacy wrapped tightly around her voice. “Welcome aboard the Astral Express.”
“A pleasure,” he responds, fully intending to match her honeyed word for honeyed word. “I suppose this arrangement is your doing?”
“A joint effort,” she smiles. “As partial shareholders in Penacony, we've been working with both the Family and the IPC to ensure its smooth management. We've agreed to take you on.”Sunday is transferred into the Astral Express' custody. He assumes he's changing wardens. The crew is determined to be much more than just that.

“Aren’t I?” he retorts. It’s too late to back out now that he’s started the conversation, now that he’s laying himself bare in front of the one person he respects most on this train. “What is it that differentiates me from an injured dove, Mr. Yang? My body might be fine, but to say the same of my mind –”
“You’re not an injured dove either,” Mr. Yang cuts in, firm. Final. His gaze lifts from the tea, eyes blazing with something Sunday can’t name. “And even if you were, you would’ve gotten better with help.”

Krauser cupped the back of Leon’s head, making him tilt his face so the kiss could be deepened, until Leon felt heat radiating from something close to his cheek. It was way more than warmth from the fireplace, and alarmed Leon broke the kiss. He didn’t pull far, though, only an inch or two between their faces, but he immediately saw what the reason was: Krauser was holding the branding iron right next to their faces.
Summoning up his best glare, trying to ignore his hard-on, Leon growled. “Don’t even think about it.”
That pulled a laugh from Krauser, and immediately he set the cattle brand back into the fire. “I would never,” he said, a grin dancing on his lips. “A face like yours is too perfect to mark.”

When Leon got the first email with a video attached he almost deleted it as spam. He wasn’t going to open a random video file in an email that didn’t even have a subject line or any text, that was just asking for trouble. Especially as the person who sent it wasn’t even in his contacts, and the address didn’t sound familiar in any way, shape or form. That was until the filename of the video got his attention, making him frown in confusion.

It was short, only fifteen seconds, but the impact was akin to getting hit by a train. Leon sat there, mouth open, eyes wide, unable to even breathe as he tried to process what he’d just seen. Swallowing hard, he hit play again, setting the video to play on a loop.
