Yes. Maybe here is where it hits Aziraphale that he is loving, but not loving the right way. Because angels are meant to love—it’s their whole thing, just next to being agents of God and thwarting evil and leading humans down the path of holiness and all that—but they aren’t meant to love with their whole chest, with such an ache, with something that makes them think and feel: Oh.
And that is what Aziraphale is doing. Thinking, Oh.
Maybe it shouldn’t be, but his next coherent thought is, I want to touch him.
Even if it burns.

Keith had never really believed in love, not really, but thinking back to the day he met Adam, to Shiro’s tone as he introduced them, back to all the times they’d gone grocery shopping together and watched movies in the dark, Shiro and Adam on the couch and Keith on the floor with a bowl of popcorn in his lap, he thought maybe he could believe in it. Or at least that he wanted to.

“So is that something we do now?” Lance asks, looking up from where Keith’s hand rests on the bench. Where they were just touching. “Compliment each other?”
“I don’t know,” Keith says, honestly. “Maybe.”

“Do you want to talk about it?” Takashi asks quietly. It’s dark, overbearingly so, but he doesn’t need to see to envision the way Adam’s eyelashes flutter over his dark cheeks, the way his face looks with one cheek squished against the pillow. He’s seen it enough times. Engrained it in his mind, pressed it into his memory so he could never forget. When he left for Kerberos, even when they had broken it off and he wasn’t sure what he would return home to, he’d thought about Adam’s face like this, lying down beside him, his skin smooth and his eyes dark and his lips turned up in a small, endearing smile. He’d thought about it every day, every time he could afford, repeating this image so he wouldn’t forget.
That was his fear, then: that he would forget.

“I think being in space made everything different,” Lance said. “Other than the obvious stuff. I think it could’ve affected us…differently than we thought.”
“How so?”
“I never used to be uncomfortable with large, open spaces,” Lance said. “And the world wasn’t loud.”
The world wasn’t loud. Keith couldn’t imagine that. Even if he’d never put a particular finger on it, the world had always been too loud to Keith, too much.
But someone like Lance, who’d grown up with a huge family who had a huge presence and huge love to give, someone who’d spent most of his adolescence thriving off of other people, who used to pride himself on breaking hearts and finding his way around any social situation—Keith got why it was unsettling to him. He could get how that could be a sign of space changing him—this new, world-heavy Lance.
“Maybe,” Keith said.

Summary
alternate universe where shinoa and mitsuba are in place of mika and yuu. they grew up in the hyakuya orphanage together, were brought to sangenium, and when they tried to escape, only shinoa made it out while mitsuba was turned into a vampire and kept as krul's "pet." some minor things have changed about them, like some of their relationships with background characters, but it follows the same basic timeline as ons does.

"You'll think it's funny. Well, you might." The corners of his mouth turn up, nervously, though there's that look in his eyes - a combination of warmth and weight that tugged at Crowley even before he knew what it meant. He's still not sure what to do with it, even after all this time.
"Angel," he begins, "you don't have to-"
"For the longest time, you see, I worried it was a - I think it's called a long game."
Aziraphale doesn't feel guilty, for once, but has some things to confess.
Crowley doesn't think he has guilt, and doesn't plan to confess anything. On both counts, he's wrong.
