The smoke was thick and obscured most of his face, but Andrew could still see the scars on his cheeks, the contours of his lips, the cut of his jaw.

Left is an empty heart and a ratty duffel bag that Andrew keeps with him at night, clinging onto something tat made it all feel real. Like it was more than a pipe dream. A figure of his drugged dreams turned into sober imagination.
Neil Josten dies in West Virginia, where he is stuffed into a car by the Malcolm siblings.
