Summary
A devastating fire left Alpha Magnus, Omega Jace, Beta Camille and Omega Rosa without their parents when they were barely more than toddlers. They grew up together in foster care and became their little self-made family, not related by blood but looking after each other ever since. Many years later, they have a bakery, working to keep it afloat. They don't have much, but they have each other- an unusual and unlikely family, the four of them very different from each other, but a family nonetheless.

He's less certain about the whole fan convention thing, especially this 'shipping' stuff. Terrified that the audience is seeing his real attraction to Magnus, he doesn't react very well at first.
Four years later, a pandemic and technology threaten to expose their secret relationship. Will Alec ever be ready to go public? -

Summary
The nephilim were unkillable, because they couldn't get sick and couldn't be touched. That was one of the basic certainties in the Shadow World. They were a safe bet to call upon when in danger, even if a bit too ignorant and full of themselves.
Magnus had worked with them and spoken to them, rolled his eyes at them and occasionally engaged in verbal sparring. Nothing more, as they belonged in their own little closed off world.
He never planned to end up learning one's true name.
Neither did he know what he was supposed to do with it.
(The premise is very loosely inspired by a concept from The Inheritance Cycle book series)

He’s sure it’s for a good cause, Magnus wouldn’t be going if it wasn’t, he just hates the prancing around, charming big-wigs with more money than they know what to do with—or that they deserve to have. Alec really didn’t want to go but Magnus had done quite a bit of…convincing, and now here they were, the morning of.

Living a meaningless life through parties and wealth, he believes he found love with the beautiful, sexy Mrs. Camille Belcourt, a gold-digger who's already married. When their affair is going to become of public knowledge and threaten her position, though, Camille breaks up with him. To dull his pain, Magnus falls in the pit of alcoholism, ending in a rehab. Once clean, he decides to go on a trip on his own, trying to forget his past and find a reason to live.
They meet and love happens, timid, painful, just whispered. Will they get a future together?
