So many yellow walls, a weird patter printed on them with huge lights on the ceilings, nothing else in sight. An endless maze filled with darkness.
"You dont think that this place is.." Chuuya spoke in disbelief,
"Oh I certainly do, parther." Dazai's lips fell into a thin line, his distinctive smirk forming on the corners of his mouth. He perked up once again, delivering the punching line of the situation.
"This is the place where all of the previous people have been taken to."

Aragorn has spent enough time among Elves to know their customs.
At least, Legolas assumes he has.
So when Aragorn begins offering him choice portions of food, tending his wounds in public, touching his hair, sharing his space, and performing what appears to be an increasingly serious series of traditional elven courtship rituals, Legolas can only come to one conclusion:
Aragorn is courting him.
Naturally, Legolas decides to court him back.
There is only one problem.
Aragorn has absolutely no idea what he is doing.
Or: Aragorn accidentally courts an Elven prince, Legolas enthusiastically reciprocates, and the entirety of Rivendell figures out what is happening long before either of them manages to have an actual conversation about it.

There’s blood on his skin he can’t place, bruises he doesn’t remember earning, and a heavy, sinking feeling like he’s already lost something important—something he can’t even name.
His head is full of broken flashes. Red. Noise. Falling. Power tearing through him until there’s nothing left but static.
He doesn’t know where he is.
Doesn’t know who he is.
Just fragments that refuse to become anything solid.
His phone is in his hand like it’s always been there.
Names scroll past his thumb—Ane-san, Hirotsu-san, Boss—none of them meaning anything, none of them feeling real enough to hold onto.
His breathing goes uneven.
Too fast.
Too shallow.
Then he sees it.

Chuuya didn’t open his mouth to explain, he simply continued staring through Ranpo. Dazai looked at his partner, noting the distant gaze of his eyes, all the tells in his body language that wanted to run, that wanted to fight.
“Or you could tell us why your name was all over every single document we saw, I bet we could piece it together from that.” Ranpo continued, leaning back in his chair.
“Nakahara, all intel should be shared if we have any chance of defeating our shared enemy.” Fukuzawa stated, his voice steady and remained authoritative.
“I am, they're after me."

”Meleth nin tulhi, mecin?” Aragorn says in a low, pleading tone, as if he had been denied for far too long of his lover. Which he technically has, and Legolas indulges in his lovers request because he too had been craving the strider's hold.

Chuuya wasn’t sure if it was because Mori had started to hound him out of nowhere about getting a new partner, or maybe it was this new feeling he had on missions that he was being observed, but nothing was affecting him as much as his lack of sleep. He had tried everything: pills, sex, drinking, even massages.
If he was being honest, he knew none of these things would work, it wasn’t normal insomnia keeping him awake. Something-

The Fellowship is fragmented and the world seems to be collapsing around them. Aragorn’s heart is aching and he knows that Legolas suffers too, both succumbing to hopelessness in their mourning. But they can find healing together, there is still love in the cruel world and the Earth is still whole beneath their feet.
