His yellow eyes flashed dangerously as he bared his glittering white fangs but the sound that came out was… quiet. And pathetic, like a mushroom puff being squashed underfoot.
This was so embarrassing. A hiss like that wouldn't intimidate a single thing, not even the smallest lizard. If Mercer had still been around to hear it, he probably would have paused to laugh before ordering one of his soldiers to get the muzzle.
"...Sorry." He wasn't even sure what he was apologizing to So'lek for. Maybe for hissing, some partially buried instinct to tamp down his "alien-ness" rearing its ugly head. Maybe for how badly it had gone. Tamtey wasn't sure what felt worse– not acting human or not acting Na'vi.

For those accustomed to the above state, to the one writhing with normalcy and familiarity… multiple limbs, thousands of teeth, faces without faces, beings without shape might seem off putting.
This scene of unexplored beings beyond comprehension, of creatures who speak in tongues, different languages mismatched together to create a common expression. Dialectic the likes of the human mind would never, could never truly explore without insider help.The multiverse, the dimensions between worlds, alien and unknown, strange and most definitely… weird.

It's some shenanigans, a date, and then some horny nasty with a hopeful ending. He's down so bad, he has so many feelings, and eventually, he concludes that he likes you, (Tav) because you're stupid and annoying. He wants a little of your audacity for himself. To want someone like this is brand new to him. He's a proud, self-important dumbass and so are you! Realizing this doesn't suddenly make you any less frustrating of a person. If anything he's annoyed with himself once realizing he's horns deep, too far gone to turn back. Utterly, atrociously enthralled by you.
“I don’t need you.” He forces through gritted teeth even as his balls threaten to detach from his body in favor of finding someone more deserving of his manhood.
“But you want me.” Confidence oozes from you, pungent and lustrously obnoxious. The expression fits you so well that he hates you for it. Your eyebrows raise, daring him to say otherwise. At that exact moment, Rolan manages to leech off of your tenacity just enough that he's able to shed the last of his hateful perseverance.
