Summary
To put it very succinctly: Clark Kent was bizarre.
It wasn’t the first impression of the man, but rather the accumulation of all the pieces that led Bruce to that conclusion. On first impression, Clark Kent was inexplicably bland. Slumped posture, timid presence, suit from the bargain bin’s last call section. His glasses were slightly bent, and his hair was objectively a mess. His accent was from the midwest, his manners from the last century. Overall, an unremarkable man.
Or: Bruce Wayne meets Clark Kent for the first time. Bruce tries to unwind the mystery that is this seemingly unassuming reporter.

Summary
Fujioka was pretty. He was pretty in a way no guy Ritsu had ever seen was. Androgynous, but somehow masculine. Delicate, but sturdy. Sculpted, but not made of harsh angles. Quite literally, the best compromise of every option. Absolutely perfect, but in the kind of understated way that made him approachable.

But in the action of waving his hand around, his gaze catches on a shiny glint on his finger. He blinks at it. Once, twice. It can’t be.
He’s wearing a wedding ring.
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Wilson place his hands on his hips, roll his eyes. There’s a similar band on his left hand, fourth finger—the designated marriage finger. The sight is not unfamiliar to House, what with Wilson’s endless stream of wives, but House has never seen a matching ring on his own hand. Certainly not one that matches Wilson’s.
