Summary
The story of how John Carter ended up in soft restraints in the neurology step-down unit at County General Hospital is, if you ask him, the story of a gross overreaction on the part of his teacher, Peter Benton.
If you ask Benton… the restraints were a completely necessary medical intervention made on behalf of a severely concussed and extremely dizzy idiot.
OR: After getting attacked in the ER, Carter has a severe concussion and refuses to stay in bed.

Summary
When Viktor says, “Jayce, your leg…” his voice does not reverberate with an otherworldly echo. He sounds like Viktor—just Viktor. Jayce’s partner.
“It’s okay,” Jayce says. He wraps his fingers around the hand that Viktor offers him, and as their skin touches, an electric tingle goes down Jayce’s arm. For a moment he expects them to be back in that other place, blinding blue light and the glow of countless souls surrounding them, but no—they’re still here, in the bright midday sunlight, on the shattered dome above Piltover. They are real.
Jayce and Viktor survive. There is still so much for them to figure out.

Summary
Being transported to the past is not the sort of thing one normally expects. But this having happened, and with no easy way back, Jason's determined to make the most of it. Though the Bat still stalks Gotham's streets, the city's crime is run by the mobs instead of the rogues. There's no Joker yet.
There's no Robin.
Maybe there shouldn't be.

Summary
Even if their partnership survives Viktor confessing a feeling Jayce doesn’t have, things would change. Better they stay like this — enough affection to keep Viktor from going elsewhere, never nearly as much as he wants, all taken in a way Jayce doesn’t intend.
Guilt. Desire. Et cetera.
Left alone on New Year’s Eve, Viktor takes a trip back to the undercity. But going home again is much harder than leaving — and it hurts so much worse. At least he might finally admit some feelings to his partner at the end of it.

Summary
‘Anyone ever tell you that you’re pretty?’ Fingertips dug into Jason’s chin, tilting his head side to side, surveying him, ‘all that bravado doesn’t suit a face like yours.’
Jason snarled and pulled at his restraints.
‘Ah, ah, ah,’ the leader chastised, voice light, ‘you’ve got the wrong idea. Pretty is a good thing. Pretty is useful.’
Or: Jason probably shouldn’t have tried to take down an entire gang without his armor. Fortunately, Nightwing is in the area. No one hurts Dick’s family and gets away with it.

Missing scenes from Return of the Thief that piece together the enemies-to-found-family arc we didn't get to see: the queen of Attolia and Eddis's minister of war.
Or: Through a series of conversations that Pheris wasn't present for, Hector tries to pass on to his daughter-in-law his hard-won wisdom about how to handle being married to a Thief. Some of his lessons take.

This is just a little kissing story set immediately after the end of Queen of Attolia. Because they’ve been through a rough couple of years and I think they deserve some awkward cuteness and (unexpected?) physical attraction.
