Watching Steve sit alone that first day- even with his ex and her new squeeze crowding his table- former King of Hawkins High with his bruised up face and puppy dog eyes, and apparently, knight in shining armor tendencies, Eddie never stood a chance.
It's Jeff, in the end, that finally badgers Eddie enough to let Steve be dragged over to their table- into Hellfire, and Dungeons & Dragons, and hopefully right into Eddie's arms- after Steve intervenes to stop Jeff being harrassed in the halls.
Now Eddie just needs to figure out what he's going to do with all of it.
Aka a hellfire adopts Steve fic, because give the boy some friends (and a boyfriend).

Poetry and art are not his forte. He's not one to give flowers or ornate gifts, and the only metal he's worked are weapons, sturdy and sure. When ori starts finding poems that sound more like threats than songs and hairpins that are like little daggers, he begins to worry that someone in the group wants him dead.

Ori knows these symptoms must be a sign of illness. Why else would his stomach be doing flip-flops, his heart racing and his hands sweating? It's just unfortunate it had to happen on this quest, just as it's unfortunate Bofur keeps making hammer jokes Ori doesn't understand. Oh well. At least he's made a new friend in Dwalin.

Prompt: So we all know Bilbo has a terrible memory for first meetings (aka Gandalf) and the scene with sweaty Thorin working over a forge (drools). I'd really like to see Bilbo meeting Thorin when hes a young man before/or just after he became master of bag-end.
Some dwarfs have come to the shire in winter looking for work to feed their people. Maybe Bagend needs some new chandeliers/repairs. Bilbo cant resist visiting the town forge everyday to admire Thorin work hard and honorably to feed his people. Que romance and hot sex in a forge. And a sad good bye.
Then the quest happens and Thorin is a little more then miffed Bilbo doesn't remember him. Maybe its the beard or the fact that Bilbo never knew he was a king and it throws him off.
