Summary
“Oh, I thought I’d left you with trouble aplenty.” James lets this hang in the air for a moment, brown eyes glittering with their native mischief. “How’s our Princess?”
Sherlock rolls his eyes. “Neither a princess nor ‘ours’, I think is the answer to that.”After his encounter with Xiao Wei on the balcony, Sherlock has no particular intention of interrogating his own ambivalent feelings. James, on the other hand, has every intention of doing it for him.

Summary
Since Prince Albert's death, ghosts have been flourishing all over the country for a reason both unnatural and unknown. For better or worse, the living have learnt to make room for them and death has become a part of everyday life.
It's in this world that Sherlock Holmes meets James Moriarty in Oxford. Immediately drawn to each other, the two young men connect in unexpected ways as they become tangled in a murder plot that reaches beyond anything they could have imagined - beyond the veil of death, even.
