Whining, Woongki purposefully turns away so he won’t have to look at the other man’s expression a moment longer. “At this point, it’s too late. If I tell him now, he’ll think I’ve been listening on purpose.” That thought is humiliating enough to make him clap a hand over one of his swiftly warming ears. “I’m just hoping he’ll get serious with JL and go over to his place instead.”
“How badly do you want a solution?”
As long as he’s known Steven, Woongki should have absolutely been able to read the mischief in his tone, but he’s not thinking. He’s too busy devoting brain power to his roommate predicament, and to whether or not he’s being made fun of. And since neither of these apply, his answer is quick and easy.
“I think I’d do anything.”

The door swung open, and a small group of guys walked in, laughing and chatting over each other, all carrying boxes of varying sizes. One of the guys was struggling to carry a mini fridge, swearing at the others for making him carry it. Another had a large duffel bag slung over a shoulder and was wearing a dark cap, which was swiftly stolen off of his head by one of his friends, who held it over his head like they were thirteen.
The boy stopped in front of JL, still holding a crate of stuff. He had a bright grin at the sight of him, “Hey! You must be Jay Lawrence. I’m Jeongwoo.”
So, this was Seo Jeongwoo, his roommate.

Something JL had whispered made Shuaibo grin. Then, almost absentmindedly, Shuaibo reached out and brushed a hand against JL's arm. Before he could stop himself, his jaw tightened and a rushed puff of air left his nostrils in indignation.
