Summary
In another world, after five long cycles of war, Megatron had actually agreed to a truce with the Autobots. Among the many heavily negotiated terms was one he absolutely wouldn’t budge a single bit on. It was far too important to him, and he knew the Autobots wouldn’t sacrifice the treaty to refuse his demand.
Every single Decepticon was allowed to reenter Cybertron society without punishment.
The issue is that, while it seems everyone is getting used to life once again, Megatron is still stuck in the past. He can’t put it behind himself regardless of what others say. He struggles with a redefined role, his self worth, rampant anger issues, and most of all, the bloody conflict inside of him between D-16 and Megatron.
What he doesn’t realize is that his friends, old and new, are going to be there for him through it all.
AKA: What happens when the war ends and Megatron has to face the damage he’s done to others, and most glaringly, himself?

Takes place Before Megatron over throws Megazarak in the lull between the Decepticons getting thrown off Cybertron and the war restarting.
Also Sentinel Prime also got demoted in this AU. He is very much not a fan of construction work.
