He licks his wounds when he’s bleeding so he figures he’ll do the same to you.

    Summary

Several years after making her escape Adami still has not completely readjusted to life in the human world. Despite securing a high-level corporate job and living a relatively comfortable life flashbacks from her time among the monsters continue to haunt her. Instead of getting better with time, inexplicably they just seem to be getting worse, and a growing paranoia surrounding a new office assistant tempts her to return to her old bad habits. No matter how badly she wants to kill, she knows doing this would topple the precarious balance she's found. Somehow, she's got to find a way to keep it together... for him...
