Summary
Wilbur's not really anything like Quackity.
He isn't as kind and level-headed as Quackity. He seriously only recently stopped smoking with the help of Quackity and the support group his friend introduced him to. He doesn't have that twinkling gaze Quackity does.
And he really doesn't want to take it away from him.
So, yes, he's stressed. Worrying about what Quackity's parents will think of the people he hangs out with, what they think of Wilbur and his black ripped jeans.
It only gets deeper because Wilbur likes Quackity. As in more then a friend. He blushes at any smile and compliment, he smiles back with adoration. He wants to have Quackity, to hold him, to feel his heart against his chest and be able to love him.
But he can't, because his hands have gained some dirt over the course of his twenty-five years, and he doesn't want to leave a stain on Quackity, near perfect and bright. He doesn't want to leave anything too permanent.
or, Wilbur and Quackity's relationship (and other things) over the past (almost) three years up until Wilbur meets Quackity's parents, as planned and stays the night, as planned (not everything goes to plan, though)

Summary
Wilbur, being himself, could’ve just poked and annoyed till Quackity gave a normal (typically angry) reaction and nearly killed him trying to get out of his raven-hair. Or, on a completely opposite end of the line, Wilbur could’ve left and waited another day for the odd attention he so often craves from the other.
But today, he’d approach him and do no more than offer a cigarette and open ears. Which may not be the best comforting tactic, hell not the best tactic for anything considering its nicotine and the ears of a man who’d gone insane and only spoke in metaphors that were often misunderstood.
Yet, Quackity hesitantly accepted one of the sticks and pulled a lighter out of his own pocket.

There was a slight rustling on the other end of the line and hushed voices, slowly disappearing with the sound of repeated footsteps coming from what he assumed was the person on the other end of the line. “My name is Techno, I’m a social worker for the state of Washington and I’ve been assigned your son for the past three years.”
Wilbur blinked slowly, letting the words set in one by one. “My- I’m sorry, I think you have the wrong person, I don’t have a son,” he chuckled breathlessly, focusing back on his dinner, now waiting in the beeping microwave.
“We’ve ran two DNA tests on both your son and the mother, and you’re listed on his birth certificate as the father,” Techno explained, footsteps slowly coming to a halt. “Did you not know about him?”
Or; Wilbur has lived the past nine years of his life unbeknownst to the kid sharing his last name.

Wilbur would admit that he was very protective. He's always been like that, even if it doesn't look like it at first. He had to fight that protective instinct in order to stay hidden; being a phoenix-hybrid and all that. For his safety, and the safety of those he cares for, he had to keep what he was secret. And he knew for a fact that his protectiveness could border on possessiveness if it was allowed to spiral too far.
When he sees Quackity arguing with Sapnap and Karl, he's not sure why his protective instinct flares up.
When the duck-hybrid starts crying, his fire roars.Hell hath no fury like a pissed of phoenix.

Wilbur's eyes flicker over to them. "Uh – " he swallows. "Um, yes. Sure. If – if you have to."
And then she helps him peel off his hoodie. And then his shirt. And Technoblade's throat goes dry.
Wilbur is covered in bruises. And usually, Techno knows, that's hyperbole, but no – this is honest. There's no blowing up the blue and black mottling his back, or his side, or his arm. His injured shoulder is actually the only part of him that's not marked up, and Techno is guessing that once the pain sets in, it won't stay that way for long.
This, Techno thinks, is much, much more than he was expecting, and much, much more than he was ready to deal with.
or, Wilbur Soot is a hockey player being treated awfully by his team. Techno is team captain of SMP, Phil's team, and he does Not like what he sees.

Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?

In a world of heroes and villains, there are two young men with weights far too heavy on their shoulders.
Quackity is a hero... intern. He is a young man in his last year of the hero academy and he is ready to go put into the world to help people. He hasn't had the easiest of lives, which is why he's so dedicated to doing good. He wants to make sure no one has to hurt like he did. However, during his internship he meets a villian that makes him wonder if the heroes really are the good guys. What happens when a hero realizes how the cards someone is dealt shapes them, and how his world is playing by unfair rules?
Wilbur is a villain. He steals to survive and he burns to feel alive. He keeps many secrets. Even from the few people he cares about; his brother tommy, his fellow villains, and the boy he meets at the animal shelter, who despite all odds, has wiggled his way into the villains heart. But what happens when he is offered a deal he cannot refuse, and his lies all come falling down upon him like a house of cards?
