Summary
Arashi isn’t sure when that short-circuit in her brain first made its appearance. She’s unsure if it was during a childhood trauma, alone with people who wanted nothing more than to hurt her, or those times turned alone to herself with nothing but her own thoughts, or maybe her mind just quietly loathes itself. But no matter when or how, she’s found herself drawn to the macabre and dark. Not in the way someone is curious on what is underneath the wrapping paper of a gift, but in the way a moth is drawn to a flame, an instinct she’s unable to fight. She can’t seem to get herself off without some form of pain, directed at herself, a stranger or even those close to her. Perhaps it is part of her nature, maybe that is why her mind hates itself in such a way.
