Summary
They would always be a little ruined, Yuma had consoled himself once he’d realised that Taki had truly disappeared for good. Burnt at the edges and bloated with waterlog. But he’d always known the truth — that despite the blood on their teeth what they’d had was irreplaceable. Fangs stained red, Yuma would cradle the memory of who they’d been with claws lined with mottled fur. Mutually assured destruction had sounded wonderful. If he was with Taki.
The time loop isn't really the problem. It's an issue, sure, but Takayama Riki is back in town, years after he'd disappeared from his life, and Yuma doesn't know what to do.

Summary
“Perfect.” The mage swung his staff, and suddenly they were speeding up, moving at speeds that a regular human would have been unable to reach. Nicholas’ arms flailed, but the red-haired boy wrapped one arm around his torso. “You distract him. Give me an opening. It can’t run if it’s too distracted fighting you.” Without warning, a hand pressed against his back, forceful, and in the blink of an eye he was flying forward. “Go on.”
Once upon a time, a hero, while trying to go home, met a mage who loved flowers.

See, this is the way their dynamic falls into place. Nicholas grabs Euijoo and pulls, and Euijoo allows himself to be dragged along. It’s a bit like orbiting the sun; you can’t help the pull nor the motion, but it’s not like you mind. You really don’t mind at all.
