Summary
Dipper and Pacifica have been friends for years. They've shared all their secrets with each other. Except for one: Dipper has been in love with Pacifica since pretty much forever ago. So when she confides in him about her parents control of her future, he decides to do everything in his power to help her out. So if that means lying about who he is and maybe going on a few fake dates, then that's what he's going to do. After all, what could go wrong?

Eddie ran his hands through Buck's hair, twisting his curls through his fingers as he stifled a yawn, the urge to fall back asleep fighting his want to simply lie and exist with the man he loved.
And he truly was in love. He had been, for so long, and he hadn't truly realized the magnitude of it until he was contemplating something that he had sworn off forever.
He loved Buck so wholly, so viciously, so aggressively, yet so gently and naturally it was the same as breathing, just another fact about himself.

“Stop it,” Buck huffs out, shuffling out of reach. “You’re being ridiculous.”
“I’m not doing anything,” Eddie insists, sliding backwards until his socked foot touches Buck’s leg again.
“You’re being a dick.”
Buck attempts to move away again, and Eddie follows him, refusing to stop touching him with his socks until suddenly Buck’s not there anymore and a loud thump echoes throughout the room.
“Did you just—”
“Shit,” Buck mutters, and Eddie can vaguely see the shape of Buck’s body in the dark as he heaves himself up off the floor. “What the hell is wrong with you?”

All four wince as a young man taps the microphone onstage.
“Testing, testing,” he jokes. “Welcome to the Cruisin’ Couples Trivia Tournament!”
The patrons around them cheer. Eddie digs his nails into Buck’s skin harsh enough to make him wince.
“Oh,” he breathes. “This is for couples.”
