A lone RED Scout stumbles back to base in the late hours of the night, collapsing before reaching the infirmary. His death, unbeknown to the mercenaries, signals the beginning of a zombie outbreak. Seemingly abandoned by Mann Co., Medic and Soldier work together to find the source of the virus, and stop the spread before all is lost.

While the rest of the team overlook the unnerving changes in the man's appearance and his character, Scout is deeply suspicious of the team's doctor.
