Summary
A town rallies for a final stand, a cruel captain meets a fate worse than death. In the end, the town prevails, though forever scarred, and gets to see the new year’s sunrise. That’s how the story goes.
Until a freak storm breaks the narrative.
The harsh waves and whipping winds spare Grayfang from the fateful bite that would have given Grimshire a shred of mercy. Now with the pirates as permanent residents of the fjord, will the farmer manage to provide enough to stave off starvation, or will the village burn?

Summary
"She's going to say something sappy. I just know it." Kit-7 glanced over her shoulder, to where Umbra-9 and Miranda were chatting. "We can never have one goddamn clan night without her reminiscing about stars, and family, and-"
"Kit, shut up, you were literally being sappy about the clan last night." Rell blew a strand of hair out of her face and threw her hand of cards on the table. "I fold."
Oshanine side-eyed the cards and grinned. "If you're wondering why your hand is bad, it's because Bash switched out your cards when you weren't looking."
"Snitch! Snitch! Nine is a dirty snitch!" The Ghost in question shrieked its displeasure.
Rell narrowed her eyes at the battered drone. "You little-"
She launched herself at the Ghost, who zipped away shrieking. Kit shook her head, smiling despite herself. Oshanine raised an eyebrow and a shit-eating grin began to make its way onto his face. Phes was pointedly ignoring the chaos, but a similar smile was reflected on her face as well.
Kit sighed. "What."
Oshanine's grin grew further. "Oh, you know what Miranda would say. Pure chaos, the lot of us, but we fit together so well you'd swear that we were all part of the same-"
"Shut up!"

Summary
After a mythological Golden Age, humanity has all but fallen and the dead god known only as the Traveler hangs in the sky. The Last City of humankind is protected by Guardians, supersoldiers powered by the Light and risen from the dead — and the last defense of the Sol System against invaders.
The Darkness does not come as an invading army, though. It comes wearing familiar faces. It promises greatness. One clan finds themselves facing alien gods of flesh and machine, and the Darkness itself before it can bring about a second Collapse.
------------------
A full (eventually) narrative of the Destiny games by Bungie, following a single clan that attempts to survive the story (and each other) intact.
Q // Human Gunslinger // A newly forged Guardian, drowning in the blood of war, and crutching on his dwindling humanity.
Cerys // Awoken Voidwalker // A dutiful Praxic who, in her short decades, has already slain Crota and won accolades in the Crucible and strikes.
Leo-3 // Exo Striker // A storied war veteran, whose glory always seems to belong to someone else.
Ember // Human Sunbreaker // The spiteful last remains of the shattered order of mercenaries.

Summary
In this interpretation, the accomplishments, relationships, and characteristics of The Guardian (sometimes called 'The Young Wolf') are split between many different Guardians. Heroes often come and go in the Last City, as humanity continues to be caught in a paracausal war beyond their understanding.
This series mainly focuses on the lives and adventures of Fireteam Argo, a small group of veteran and beginner Guardians who first come together when they're assigned to investigate a disturbance on Europa. As they grow in power, reputation, and fellowship, they draw more to their cause — New Lights and seasoned god-slayers alike. If the Sol System is to survive a second Collapse, these Guardians must learn the necessity of traversing the Deep, and discover what it takes to protect everything they cherish.

Osiris doesn’t remember much of the escape beyond fleeting scraps of Geppetto’s muffled voice and the flashing warmth of Saint’s Light. He’d probably feel more grateful for that if the memory wasn’t jerking Saint awake almost every night.

CJ, after taking up an offer to travel with his parents, prepares to spend his three months of summer vacation relaxing on the lush island of Ambersap, leaning back, maybe in a hammock. Little did he know that two guys, a laid-back otter and a soulful chameleon, would take that hammock and send it swinging like an amusement park ride.
Now he has to sort out himself, his feelings, and the possibility of a relationship he both fears and craves more than anything- all the while trying to find a way to tell his parents who he is. Summer is the time of freedom and risk, taking chances you may later regret, and CJ isn't going to miss his shot, no matter what.
