Summary
At birth, people are born with either the symbol of the moon on their wrist, or the sun on their arm. Due to these differences, a wall dividing the two populations had been erected ages ago, separating a massive population into two distinct features. Because of this deep-seated difference, crossing the wall was punishable by death. Yet atop this wall sits Tsukishima, curious about the side opposite from his. What happens when Yamaguchi, an earnest man from the Sun Side climbs up there with him, planting the idea of sneakily exploring the sides into Tsukishima's head?

During the cruelest winter of Greece, there was a child born amongst the gods. Instead of high in the heavens, it was celebrated far below the surface of the mortal earth, in the darkness that filled the Underworld. The Goddess Persephone cradled a young boy swaddled in wool sheared from black sacrificed lambs, and named him Nekrikos, meaning Deathly. His cry was strong and filled the room, and Hades looked at him proudly, touching a few fingers to his brow. ‘A scythe,’ he announced, ‘would be given to him once he becomes of age. And until then, he shall join me in overseeing my realm.’
As the babe slept peacefully amongst the crypt-like halls of the palace in the Underworld, the mortals shivered in their homes, sifting through their small rations as their fields provided no results. This winter the Gods must be mad, they worried, desperately trying to find what little of their offerings they had left to throw into the pyres along with their prayers.
The winter was cruel and unyielding, devouring crops with the touch of death and stealing animals of their last breaths. All through this, the young god that had brought it amongst them slept on.- Language:

Tsukishima just moved to a new place in Japan and so it happens his apartment is right next to a suicide forest. There he meets Yamaguchi, a spirit who's known as being terrible at his job in 'saving the souls' of humans that come into the forest to die. In the land of Spirits, everything is run by intention. Spirits may not touch humans, for that would turn them into vengeful spirits. Spirits must be cautious of vengeful spirits, for if touched, they will be transformed as well.
But what if a human reached out?
A fateful incident drags Tsukishima into Yamaguchi's spirit world - a place Tsukishima so desperately wants to be free from. But with Yamaguchi starting a domino effect of events that could plunge their entire world into darkness, the only way to protect everyone they care for is by understanding that no matter who they are or which side of the mortality barrier they come from, even the weak have the power to save.
