Summary
Climbing through a window into a house with an armed suspect and without back-up was generally the exact sort of reckless move one Steve McGarrett would pull without a second thought, and Danny tried not to think about the irony of it all as he gently dropped to the ground. To be fair, it was Steve’s fault – if he hadn’t been stupid enough to let himself get captured (to protect Danny, of course, because that’s the exact brand of protective and nobly self-sacrificing he was) they wouldn’t be in this mess.

Summary
The feeling of bone crunching under his fist was satisfying in a visceral, primal way that made Steve feel a little sick if he thought about it too much. Fortunately, it’s easy to avoid thinking about it when you are focused on making sure its not your bones crunching under someone else’s hands. The adrenaline coursing though his veins had overridden any higher thought anyways – Steve’s focus was knocking the guy out and getting Adam the fuck out of there. Every time he caught a glimpse of Adam sprawled out on the dirty concrete floor and bleeding from a gunshot wound to the leg, his heart caught in his throat a little bit more. Adam was conscious, thankfully, and had a tourniquet on his leg, but it was clear that he was fading fast, and they were both running out of time.

Summary
The first sight that met his eyes when he entered the house was Tommy fast asleep on the couch, a hockey game playing quietly on the TV and a half drank beer sat on the coffee table next to him. He was sprawled on his back with one hand resting on his stomach and the other behind his head, and the dim lighting made him look so soft that Buck nearly did cry. Without a second thought, Buck stripped down to his boxers and gently laid himself on top of Tommy. He had a moment of guilt when he realized he was probably squishing his boyfriend, but then he was nestling his face into the crook of Tommy’s neck and a hand came to wrap around his back.
“Not that I’m complainin’,” Tommy mumbled as he slowly woke up, “but you could just ask a guy if you want to have sex.”
Buck shook his head without pulling it away from Tommy’s neck. As much as he loved having sex with his boyfriend (which was a lot, for the record), Buck just wanted Tommy’s comforting presence. He wanted his brain to be quiet.
