i absolutely adore this fic 🥹 it's me as a plot... theatre kid... lost with life... a bit whimsical and still trying to be Different from the rest of superficial, pretentious society
i love how the plot was tackled in a theatre play way, with all the acts and it felt so well paced out. and because of this style of writing, it makes switching in between scenes so smooth and easy.
but a good 80% of this fic felt like a personal attack HAHAAHA i think the themes of struggling with adulthood is portrayed so well... how we continue to deny that we've grown up, and honestly how we're all just scared 18 year olds living in a 25 year old body.
and i enjoyed how love is protrayed too 🥹🥹 and because they're exes it makes the whole situation so much more angsty and complicated AAAHH i love angst. i love when characters are forced to tread through difficult situations. and they won ❤️.

every moment, every chapter;; was just a repeat of "oh 😧... oh ☹️....... OH 😭...."
it felt so real, like walking through the moment with gunwook and processing his painful emotions. and because of his mental state..... i'm conflicted between what feels real to him and what feels right. oh god, love can be so fragile and weak 💔
i'm just happy that they both had their own happy endings 🥹

It hits him how she didn’t think his last relationship was anything special. It makes him wonder how much time he’d wasted chasing a feeling he wasn’t even able to capture.
Ricky thought he was in love. For a little while, at least. Until he realized that he could never love someone as much as he loved the buildup before it all. The clouds of romance swirling together, the thrill of the chase all culminating into one huge storm that’d electrocute his entire core with excitement.
Except, the clouds dissipate and the sky clears. The world continues to spin and Ricky’s left staring at the puddles on the ground. Completely un-electrocuted.
Needless to say, he agrees. He’s never been in love and he wouldn't really know what that looks like. He’d been much more focused on the thoughts and emotions that were easier to decipher. Such as storms and the drama that comes with chasing them.
He may not know what love feels like, but he knows what he wants. He wants to run.
Ricky chases storms. Gyuvin creates them. By fate or by chance, their lives come crashing together.

my heart actually hurts so much, damn author you accomplished your jobthis fic was an absolute gem, the first few chapters were so happy and beautiful... and then it proceeded to go downhill as more of sunoo and sunghoon's relationship was revealed.
i freaking love how the story is written in a way such that not too much is revealed, and it hits us HARD when things do get revealed ugh the story writing is insane i can't fathom how you even started planning for thissunoo's character surprised me so much, i love him so much T^T the main characters were really so well written with their flaws and wonderful personalities <3

what a late find but i've thoroughly enjoyed this story. it's comforting, heartbreaking, and hits me everywhere in the right places. the way the author writes, how love is described feels so raw and vulnerable. we meet so many wonderful characters as we live, and i think watching jay's character develop throughout the story was just so heartwarming.
