Uh ohhhhh, Colress and Ghetsis got arrested. Colress does not respond positively to the jail environment. So he needs a little help to deal with it, even after their escape. And perhaps Ghetsis isn't a particularly kind or welcoming person, but he does in fact know how to comfort Colress.
Also slight TW: Colress knocks a motherfucker out cold at one point, but the random guard will be okay, I promise. It's really not enough to warrant marking Graphic Depictions of Violence.
Also the titular quote in this came from someone in a Discord server. It took over my brain actually. It's a fucking verbal stim now

Summary
Astrid is an undergraduate scientific research student who dreams of two things: curing a very specific neurodegenerative disease, and claiming the Hoenn League Champion title from her two best friends. Little do most people know, she is also the anonymous hero of Hoenn who goes by the name Quasar on RoTomblr. When Prince Lear invites her to Pasio for the second PML and offers her the position of Hoenn Flagbearer, she decides that it may be time to reveal her true identity to the world. However, on Pasio, she discovers that she has far more ties to another region than she ever thought possible as she fights to overcome her trauma and learns to believe in herself.

Summary
Honestly, this is just two somewhat related one-shots packaged together (or at least, it will be once I finish the second part). A lot of sickeningly sweet, tooth-rotting fluff.
By the way, the end of the first part was inspired by the end of @thenoodlesaresalty's Lazy Sunday. I highly encourage checking out their work if you haven't already!
(edited on 4/18/23 to change it to one chapter so it says 1 of 1 instead of 1 of 2. I ended up publishing what was supposed to be the second chapter as an entirely separate work).
