Today the Wyvernwind family has officially announced the Silken Squall’s withdrawal from Tal’Dorei, citing a breakdown in communication over their trade agreement. The embassy in Emon will be closing its doors officially on the 1st of Horisal. While there are concerns amongst air genasi citizens of the Squall living in Tal’Dorei, the Wyvernwind family has declined to comment on the subject past promising safe passage back to the Squall for all its citizens.In order to keep Dorian from being deported, Orym proposes they get married. Orym rolls his eyes. Six years later and they still dote on him. He’s lucky, he reminds himself. “Yes. Good drink, good music… Questionable company aside, I’m having fun.”
“Plus the good view.” Baernie adds, motioning her mug back towards the bard, now onto another jaunty tune, but this time in a language Orym doesn’t understand. It’s all smooth vowels and soft consonants, rushing into his ear like the very wind itself. He’s already staring by the time Baernie’s words register, and he quickly brings up his mug for another long draw, hoping the tall folk sized drinking vessel covers up any hint of heat he can feel rising to his cheeks. It is a good view. He hadn’t even realized that was something he could still notice.

They do not remember if they had soulmarks or not, when they were young, and soft, and maybe happy. But they do not have them now, so trying to remember would probably just hurt more than anything else.
