Summary
In a world completely devoid of monsters, Eddie runs a Dungeons & Dragons club at the high school he just can't seem to graduate from, and Steve Harrington works at Scoops Ahoy with his best friend, Robin Buckley.
In a world without a strange, dark reflection of itself hidden in the shadows, Will Byers does not get kidnapped in middle school, and Michael Wheeler's eyes never once wander from his.
In a world that does not worsen steadily, the earth instead shatters all at once.

Summary
There's a new restaurant across from Eddie's game store - and that is just his newest problem.
Hot cuisine or whatever it's called isn't something he thought he needed in his life. He's more of a greasy cheeseburgers, cigarettes and dry cereal kinda guy. All things considered, the hip new place with its fancy food and its thriving social media account should stand for everything he hates.
Except the owner is making it really hard - pun intended.
Because Steve isn't a superficial, capitalist asshole. He's a nice guy with beautiful hair and great hands and a quirky sense of humor and great hands and a fantastic ass, and did Eddie mention the hands? For some reason, he can't stop staring at them, which is very unfortunate - especially since Steve seems to have made it his mission to introduce him to a more varied diet, and Eddie is developing some extremely inappropriate feelings related to food and cooking here.
Between burst pipes, DnD campaigns, annoying influencers, and the shiny new mall project that is threatening their neighborhood, it's all a lot to deal with, but he guesses he'll just have to suck it up - pun, again, very much intended.

Summary
‘You can ask me questions, Jason. I like your questions.’
Jason acknowledges the warm curl of something in his middle, fascinated, mapping still. He replays what Eddie said a few times, knows he can replicate that charm pretty well.
‘OK, then.’ He opens his pad. ‘My first question—’
‘Say my name.'
He looks up. ‘Sorry?’
Mild as milk, Eddie repeats his words. ‘Say my name.’
Jason clears his throat, back of his neck hot. ‘Eddie Munson.’
‘Just the first part.’
‘Eddie.’
‘Again.’
‘No.’
Eddie smirks. ‘You say it how he says it. Your co-star.’
Jason can’t fathom how he knows that. ‘We are not discussing him.’
