Summary
The saga in which four trolls, two humans, and a mayor voyage through space on a meteor, and two humans, two sprites who were once human, and numerous NPCs voyage through the yellow yard, all journeying towards the new session. During the course of this trip there are numerous deaths and revivals of the god tier humans, relationships between Dave and Terezi, and Karkat and Gamzee both fall apart. Meanwhile, a new moirallegience emerges between Dave and Karkat, the latter of whom spends almost a year preventing the human from realising this relationship exists. Meanwhile, Kanaya and Rose's relationship moves forward as Kanaya discovers that human versions of love sometimes break troll quadrants. There is also fear, in Gamzee, who remains hidden in the air vents but appears every few perigees to wreak havoc on the meteor. Numerous films are watched and cultures shared, bringing the trolls and humans closer together in ways that are not dissimilar to the human emotion known as friendship. Throughout all of this, Can Town experiences no major disruptions other than the regularly scheduled scalemate attacks. But despite all of these shenanigans over the course of one and a half sweeps, the Mayor remains a universal constant.
