Summary
Conversations from the Alpha Kids' void session. Four teens (and one pair of sentient shades) trying and failing to figure out what the hell to do with the game and with each other, fucking up time and time again in a session that's going nowhere.
Features time-travel memo shenanigans, death-defying dadhunts, extremely awkward movie nights, Erisolsprite's endless suffering, and the Mohs Scale of Dude Hardness. Not necessarily in that order.
Adapted from a draft written in mid-2014. Originally intended as a Dirk/Jake relationship study, and while that's still definitely the main focus, it pulls in Jane and Roxy as well from Chapter 4 onwards. I love 'em (and the Alpha Kid dynamics) too much to leave 'em out.

Vriska moved in next door a couple of weeks ago. She's the sort of person who thinks they know it all... but you know better. She knows nothing about lizards, for a start! And she has no idea how to find her way around this place. She doesn't know about the cave with a river in it, or the cool tyre swing across the river, or the fort on your side of the river that you'd defend against the Mbele twins. You won that long and brutal war, but only because they surrendered by moving away. The cave hasn't seen a battle since.
Things have been too quiet since they left. You're hoping Vriska can be a match for you.

Summary
There are a whole bunch of friendships in Homestuck that I don't think get as much love as they should. Here's my attempt to rectify that.
Each chapter is a different story and a different relationship. Most are written based on randomly-generated prompts, courtesy of Springhole's generators.
Chapters so far:
1) Dave & Kanaya (with added Rose). Dave's a dentist and Kanaya's a vampire, leading to some unexpected surprises when he gives her a checkup. Unlikely bonding ensues.
(Currently also chapters for Roxy & Terezi and Dirk & Jane in the making. Watch this space.)

Part 1: A boozing babysitter and a baffling brother. They're Joey's closest friends... though with Joey's "social circle" as empty as it is, that's sadly not saying much. She's never really understood Jude, and her babysitter's getting more distant than ever -- and she's not sure what can be done with either problem.
But hey, at least they've mastered the art of sharing Hawaiian pizza. In the end, isn't that what really matters?
Part 2 (not yet published): It's the mid-Nineties, the height of human technology, and isn't the World Wide Web wonderful? All you need is a crappy dial-up connection, and you can find poorly-designed websites on damn near any subject imaginable!

"And then there's a customized copy of PONY PALS, a gift to you on your 14th birthday from the slippery Mr. Strider. Each page contains lovingly hand-written commentary on the deeds of this intrepid young horse. Later, about halfway through the book, rather than see the gag through to the bitter end, Strider began pasting over entire pages of original text with his own completely rewritten version of the story, while keeping all the chapter titles. His revision is a tough, emotionally draining read. But it's cathartic, in all the worst ways possible.
He tends to get carried away with his projects."Note: this work is an altered book, and it plays on the physical relationship between the original pages and the edited text. As such, it's presented as a series of images. Reading the images is the only way to get the full experience, but I'm aware that some people can't/don't want to read it that way. So if that's the case, you can skip to chapter 13, which is a text-only version of the story, including rough descriptions of the most important illustrations.
