The Malware program doesn't just make Exe intensely feel other people's emotions— it also transfers it into pain. Sometimes it acts... Somewhat reasonable? But oh, there's times where it seems to freak out at random. Exe hates these times.
Based on a post from Mar64 that talked Abt Exe and her having chronic pain that is similar to fibromyalgia. Saw it and went SHE'S JUST LIKE ME FRRR except for the parts where she's not. I just have fibromyalgia lol.

Summary
There are some days where Tarah acts more like her old self. Days where she feels she needs to be too independent, too much like a shield, and too much like she doesn't need attention or care. She acts more protective over Thayne, and closes herself off like she's building a cage made of titanium. Something even more frustrating is that there's never a specific trigger for it. It simply happens, and it's hard to do anything about it when she's like this, because when she's like this she denies help of any kind.

Everyone on the crew wasn't sure at all if Fen could even drink. After all, Fen was quite the combination of parts, and didn't really need water at all to function. Not to mention the fact that steam never left their body. Even so, Fen was adamant at trying out drinking at a bar, despite not tending to enjoy large crowds too much. If the drink failed to work, their power source would simply burn it away, after all.
And so, the entire crew found themselves in a bar.

Summary
A mask can only be used to hide. It can never become someone's new face, nor can it stay on the person's face forever. For a mask to be integral to an identity is to have identity in and of itself become something physical and tangible. This runs the risk of the very concept of one's identity itself being able to be broken, simply due to that piece of that identity being cracked. The positives of such a situation are only ever known to the one who wears a mask.
Or: Meta Knight and the forming of becoming a knight, the forming of the meta-knights, and how someone who escaped something horrible learned to accept people into his life. Takes place pre-canon and eventually present games.

And this is where the perfect chance had appeared. It was simple. There was a party. The Fencer refused to go to it. And, with the usual worry, Pink Knight had simply decided to be with the Fencer for the night as company. The Fencer had sighed, then let them be his company. It was as simple as that. They had hung out a little bit, talked some (but only barely), and eventually Pink Knight grew tired, and the Fencer had looked tired when they had fallen asleep in the basement of the castle.
Then, the morning had decided to be a little bit rude, starting with an extremely ordinary grey knight slamming a door wide open with the franticness of a rabid rat and yelling with the volume of a rabid bat.
