Summary
My OC, Rain Lapis is originally from Hoenn. So, what if he was the protagonist/player of the game Pokemon Sapphire/Alpha Sapphire? This is the story that is going to be told, all while Rain is seeing an echo reflection (as he calls it) of another version of him... One from a story that was stopped.

Summary
Rain Lapis have finally reached S-rank, and with that, he is closer than ever to finding and catching Diancie. But when one hunt for a Mythical Pokemon, illusions are often, as the truth is not only painful... but deadly. Pair that with needing to take care of a mysteriously powerful (yet adorable) Cubchoo, and Rain seem to have enough on his plate.
Meanwhile, Vain is finally confident enough that he can become the First Seat of the Supreme Five, but his parents finally makes an appearance, and they'll stop at nothing to get Rain off Apple Academy permanently.
And Tony, Rain's rival and as of recent, boyfriend, wants to do his best to be a better rival, and begin to climb to S-rank as well, but find out it ain't as easy as it seems.
With less than twenty-two weeks until the school year end, can Tony match his strength to be a better rival? Can Vain become the First Seat of Apple Academy, despite his family interference? And can Rain discover the truth about Diancie... or will something will stop him in his tracks, this time permanently?(Discontinued, see chapter 4).

Summary
EDIT: This is now being revamped into an all new and improved prose version! I'm leaving this original script version up, but I recommend reading the new prose version instead.
Ren Kosugi moves to the Hoenn region with no idea what she is going to do with her life, but it isn't long before she gets sucked, perhaps reluctantly, into the family business of pokemon training. But this is a tumultuous time in the normally peaceful Hoenn and Ren is about to be caught in the middle of it. Will Ren and her team stop the awakening of a primal horror and save the world? Will they survive and become champions? Statistically speaking not all of them. This nuzlocke has all of that good stuff we've come to expect: friendship, adventure, brawling, trust, responsibility, guilt, loss, heartbreak, and working through personal trauma (plus poke-shenanigans, am I right?).
This is based on an OmegaRuby nuzlocke run completed in 2015. It's is pretty character driven since the game plot is very basic, but character is what I'm best at. Interpersonal relationships of all stripes feature pretty heavily. Also give it a read for world-building and diversity.
