park jimin likes structure. he's the kind of person to rewrite his notes if they look even slightly messy. quiet mornings, predictable routines — what else would you expect from a nerdy literature major?
jeon jeongguk, campus volleyball captain, is none of those things. he’s loud, quite charming, and also the exact reason jimin’s peace of mind doesn’t last past move-in week.
no syllabus could’ve prepared jimin for being assigned as jeongguk’s tutor. or for the brains & brawn competition jeongguk signed them up for (without consulting him, might i add). somewhere between the late-night study sessions and never-ending banter, their tension snaps — and we all know campuses are built for gossip, don’t we?

"Jungkook is a private chef for Jimin, who is busy busy busy and has literally no time for himself because of his career (your choice as to what it is; idol, businessman, etc.). Jimin likes to come back from work to a home cooked meal, so he allows Jungkook a key to his home. Jungkook has a major crush on Jimin and he hates that he's running himself ragged at work, but all he can do as his private chef is make the best meals he can so at least Jimin's belly is full and he feels his love through the food.
One day, Jimin texts Jungkook to ask him to make enough food for two that night. Jungkook's heart sinks because he thinks that Jimin's going to be bringing someone home, but when Jimin walks through the door, he's still alone -- like he always is. Jimin invites Jungkook to eat with him because he's tired of coming back to an empty house and eating alone. Jimin starts inviting him to stay so often that it becomes a thing and Jungkook's crush get SO much worse."

“You keep saying that,” Jungkook grunts, adjusting his feet on the bar clumsily. “Control this, squeeze that. I thought this was supposed to help me recover.”
“You will,” Jimin replies. “Your ego, though – not sure.”
Someone in the class snickers, but Jungkook gives them no mind. He lifts his head, giving Jimin a lop-sided grin. “I’m starting to think degradation is just your way of flirting, Jimin-ssi.”
Jimin observes him with a mirthful sparkle in his eyes. “Jungkook-ssi, believe me – you’d know if I was flirting with you,” he pauses, holding eye contact. Then, “Ten more,” he singsongs, eliciting a string of groans and disgruntled whines.
The reaction only makes Jimin smile more.

“I’m doing what we’re supposed to do. You’re mine. You can hate it all you want, but you’re mine. I’m not letting another man have you while I’m across the room.” The need to touch gets unbearable for him then, too, and his hands descend to Jimin’s ass. He can’t help it. “I don’t fucking get this bond either, and I don’t want it any more than you do, but we need to get it under control. So, I’m giving you a choice.”
“A choice. You’re giving me a choice?” Jimin chuckles bitterly.
or, jeon jungkook is what most sensical omegas would call scum of the earth. however, even he has an achilles’ heel. and park jimin won’t let himself be tamed so easily, especially not by alphas such as jungkook.

Or, a story of love and devotion, of confused instincts warring with modern life. A tale of sweet deception, utter adoration, and coming undone in the hands of the person you need the most.
