Summary
He doesn’t remember how he found the station, or when he even started listening. Maybe it’s just always been there, something as intrinsic to his life as breathing. Or maybe he’s just mad, since no one seems to know what he’s talking about when he mentions it. They say the station is dead air or static when they’re in his car, despite the way music is so clearly coming through the speakers.
The voice on the radio calls to II. His obsession with it leads him to a man who's possibly an angel and God.

Summary
Vessel knows he’s a good musician—one part early and frequent childhood lessons, one part natural talent, one part ancient deity—but he’s never had a desire to build up his skill set with a drum kit. And that’s what the music is missing, the beat that will be the backbone of their Worship when it eventually gets delivered to the masses. That little wrench in the plan becomes bigger when Sleep starts hounding him about it day and night. Incessant, unrelenting, so bloody annoying when Vessel is trying to find a drummer.
It’s a tall ask when Vessel is a perfectionist with a dash of control issues who comes as a package deal with a demanding god riding shotgun in his body. It’s been a long search with many false starts and rejects. An utterly exhausting endeavor, and he's got nothing to show for it.
It’s complete happenstance that leads Vessel to his drummer.
Sleep's Second is so much more than a drummer. He's the piece that Vessel's been missing all his life.

Summary
II doesn’t understand why he suddenly feels like he's jealous that IV flirts with everything that has legs but he does and it’s dumb.
IV has always been like that, for as long as II has known him. Those blue eyes and charming aura just seem to suck everyone in his proximity close to him. He’d normally hook up with someone whenever they were out, even during tours, leaving a long line of broken hearts in his wake. It never bothered II before… did it?
No, no way.
Absolutely not.

II has horrible, awful, terrible, and giant feelings for IV.
He wishes they would just go away, but they haven't. And the stupid guitarist doesn't help when he casually mentions to II that he looks like someone who should always have roses because what does that even mean, and II is left a mess. II also is awful at communicating, is still a virgin, and decides to avoid his problems by getting a belly button piercing and reading Lord of the Rings, but his dumb feelings just won't go away. Stupid IV. Stupid roses.

Summary
II has to face Vessel.
He knows that it's inevitable, he'll have to eventually talk to Vessel, eat with him, sit on the couch with him and generally do all the stuff that roommates do. II would lie if he said that he isn't scared to finally start talking with him, but then again he's done scarier things in life than talk to a person. So with that thought, II swallows the lump in his throat and finally pulls the covers off of his body.

Summary
Vessel, struggling with self-doubt and depression, reluctantly stays with II after storm damage forces him out of his own apartment. Vessel tries to put on a brave face for II, tries to hide his inner demons but nothing can be hidden from II's soft gaze. II offers quiet support and Vessel, touched by his warmth and care, starts to feel a small sense of comfort and lightness, lifting the weight on his heart.

A composer takes an interest in a reserved musician who’s laying low between tour dates with his band.

Summary
Vessel's priority is always his mates, that they know they are cherished and loved no matter how much Sleep calls to him. He begins the search for their true IV at Sleep's beckoning. With the scars of Four's departure hanging over them he's determined not to scare him off, certain this time will be different.
Another take on IV joining the group, in a way of "How late is too late to realize you've joined a cult?" vs "We are aware we're a cult but we like you please don't run away from us"
