Summary
Before Nico leaves to put on his gear, Jack pats his arm and smirks. “Go get ‘em captain,” he murmurs. Nico’s jaw drops against his will, feeling his face trying to morph into about ten different shades of red at once. (He also envisions getting on his knees if Jack calls him captain again, but unfortunately, he has a hockey game to go play.) He lets out a maniacal-sounding laugh that comes out more like a choke, practically sprinting away before he could blurt out something stupid.

“What have we got Cap?” Hen asked, as they piled into the truck the alarm blaring behind them.
“Two teenagers caught in a building collapse.” Bobby recited dutifully into the mics as the truck trundled out of the bay, it’s own lights and sirens starting up as they took off towards the scene “Apparently they were on the roof of that condemned apartment building on Emmitt Junction and it gave out on them. One has a possible rib fracture, and the other has no injuries, both are awake and alert.”
“Do these two teenagers have names?”
“Buck and Eddie.”
“What kind of a name is Buck?” Chimney asked, nose wrinkled.
“What kind of a name is Chimney?” Hen shot back, turning to look at Bobby “what were they even doing on the roof of that building? it’s been red tagged for years after a fire took it out.”
Bobby made a face, like he wasn’t sure if he could really believe the words out of his mouth as he said, “According to dispatch, homework.”

Summary
Carlos stretches once more, swinging his arms around, before picking up the phone and looking into the camera again.
Black mask covering his face completely, goggles resting on his head, with his red bomber jacket and hoodie combo securely tucked underneath the repurposed and spray painted red kevlar vest he wears. His eyes are the only thing sticking out and showing who is really under the mask at the moment. If he slides the goggles down and puts up his hood, as usual, he is completely unrecognizable to anyone that knows him personally.
To the public, he is called The Phoenix. Always able to recover from anything, never backing down from a fight. A skilled fighter.
A hero.
