Summary
"My lord," he said, "the prince of Orkney is come."
Though mounted proud and upright before the gates of Dunpendyr, by the time the many mormaers and warriors had assembled to greet him, Gawain had dismounted. His horse, whose rains he had not yet given over, was a great red beast of an animal which made its owner look an even slighter figure, especially rain-soaked as he was, and weary from days of hard riding.

Summary
“You’re very quiet this evening,” Dinadan says in a casual manner, letting the furry edge of his surcoat fall back down over his leg. A disappointment and a relief.
“I suppose,” Agravaine replies tersely. He feels terribly tense.
“Where goes our garrulous instigator? Have you a grim affliction?” Then Dinadan frowns, suddenly serious. “You aren’t taken with some fair maid, are you? I’ll slay myself if I must hear another acquaintance pontificate on love. My blood will be on your hands, sir.” -

Summary
“I loathe morality plays,” Guinevere commented to Gawain, who was laying back on sumptuous cushions and looking greyish. The curtained tent from which they were viewing the play maintained a degree of distance from the rest of the court, arranged in little groups upon the field and facing the plain wooden stage.

Summary
One of the more singular cases of my career occurred on the grounds and environs of the Camelot boarding house. It is a large sprawling old Tudor hunting lodge, turned to a boarding house when its ancient owners fell to humbler times.

These are the Arthurian fics that I sort of stand by and think were okay. If you read something by me not in this series then I don't vouch for whatever it is.

Summary
The guards at the gate did not ask my name, only my business. A man had been killed, I said. They waited. By a knight, I added, and that narrowed the field, though not by much. When I said Sir Lancelot, one of them smiled. Just that—a brief flicker, there and gone.

Summary
It hadn’t been bad, the first time Gawain left on expedition. Fresh from medical school, top marks in hand and a spanking new position on an arctic research vessel. Agravaine had been proud.
Now Lancelot du Lac was curled next to him in a dimly-lit igloo with a knife in his hand, slicing off pieces of sickly pemmican for the two of them to share, and Agravaine was not feeling proud. He was feeling a lot of things, firstly murderous, and secondly inept.
