    Summary

    The ongoing development of Christopher Pike, post-Narada. --- This story begins with the 2009 Reboot movie and neither includes Into Darkness nor Beyond.

    Starts with Chris Pike becoming a part of the relationship of the established couple Leonard McCoy and Jim Kirk and moves on from there to his unexpected relationship with the much younger, queer, almost FtM Dael (which begins in "Fire Dancing"), and finally to the establishing of a true foursome relationship, not without troubles on the way.

    Main themes: a) Poly relationships between adults who all try their best to solve the problems that come with long-distance relationships, jobs in the fleet, and Pike's ongoing health troubles.
    b) The eternal quest for truth, its relativity, the flexibility of our memories, the differences between self-perception and how others see us, and the incredible potential for healing that we all have.
