Either ten minutes or two hours pass - somewhere in between that probably, Buck really isn’t sure though, the nausea and the fatigue and the dizziness have addled his brain to the point where the only clear thought is it hurts so fucking bad I wish Eddie were here - before the bathroom door creaks open and the light flicks on. Buck tucks his chin against his chest, closing his eyes and curling up tighter like that would mean no one would see him. Embarrassment flushes through his system. What the fuck was he thinking even? Eddie’s going to hate him.

Summary
Buck hooks up with a stranger after a bombshell of a statement from his ex in order to try and distract himself. That leads to a positive pregnancy test, and Buck having to decide what that means to him. With Eddie away, Buck finds himself keeping this a secret from everyone for far longer than he probably should. It's alright though because everything all works itself out, and Buck gets his happy ending.

It feels like it takes forever for him to reach out and take it, but time seems to speed back up when their fingers brush, just slightly, during the exchange. He breathes in a little too sharply and nods at him, like, yes, an idiot, and his mouth is moving before he can stop it. “Uh, yes, yeah, thank you.”
...or, Buck’s an elementary school teacher. Eddie’s the hot firefighter that visits his school for a fire safety assembly. He is so normal about it. Seriously. Just ask his coworkers.
