    "I'm going to live forever," Izuku says, his voice quiet. Neito turns his head, feels his brow furrowing as he watches Izuku's face, freckled and tan and framed by gorgeous green.

    "You've already died," Neito says, his wrist burning at the thought. Izuku's died multiple times, and Neito has the marks to prove it, up and down his entire arm, almost completely blacking it out.

    "I mean, so have--so have you," Izuku says, shrugging. Neito's eyes shift downward, to the three black lines on Izuku's wrist, just below his death timer. It has less than a day left before it reaches zero, but it wouldn't be the first time.
