Modern!AU in which magic is rare but considered normal and sorcerers and sorceresses have soulmates, an other half that completes them and helps them master their powers. After having lost his other half at the age of 20 and spending the following five years trying to get back to a normal life, Merlin decides (grudgingly) that it’s time for him to finally go to a college for people like him to get his magic back under control and maybe even find his new soulmate. And when he meets a boy with hair like gold and eyes the color of the ocean he figures that, hell, maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea after all.
