Cameras flashed, the dark blue contrasted terribly with his mess of pink hair, and that had been that. Jaemin was officially out of reach, out of Chenle’s life forever.
Eight thousand kilometers away, Chenle had watched on a tiny phone screen in the privacy of his room, burrowed into one of Jaemin’s old sweatshirts—stolen on one of their late night adventures—and cried.

The gum at the bottom of your shoe, the crack on a pavement, the fragments of a broken mirror, not a black cat because they're angels and not omens of evil and even if they were witches in disguise Chenle thinks that would be fucking cool as fuck but anyways he digresses.
And Chenle still lets Jaemin fuck him on the regular, so he isn't quite sure what that says about his own character.
